January - May haul 2022 + Birthday gifts
So it's way due for an updated haul for the fist part of the year + what I got gifted for my birthday in February
The body shop - Aloe calming toner (250 ml): I love this product, and this is probably my third or fourth repurchase. So when the body shop was having some discount I grabbed a refill.
The body shop - Hemp hard working hand protector (10 ml): This is absolutely the best hand cream I have EVER tried, my mom used to own this stuff. And now it is really needed as my hands are super dry.
Maybelline - Lifter gloss in 003 Moon (5.4 ml): This gloss got so much hype online so I really got tempted to buy it for myself for my birthday, and it really is amazing! To me it is like a better version of Fenty Beauty gloss bomb. The Maybelline has really similar colors, chunky packaging and you do not feel any grit on your lips from the Maybelline one, whereas from the one color I own from Fenty, I feel some grit from the glitter on my lips (but I have sensitive skin so I might feel something that the average person does not sense).
The body shop - Almond nail and cuticle manicure oil (1.8 ml): My friend gifted me this one along with the face mask. It will come in super handy as I have started to fly again, and with the constant hand washing, hand sanitizing and the dry air on the airplanes my hands tend to feel super dehydrated.
The body shop - Body butter Avocado (8 ml): This I got gifted on a bachelorette party we hosted for one of my friends, and all of the girls who attended got a small gift bag containing several body shop testers.
The body shop - Aloe Calm sheet mask (18 ml): This item my friend also gifted me for my birthday! Sounds intriguing. Will have to resume the Mask Monday ritual again this summer to use some of the masks I have stashed away.
The body shop - Body butter Almond milk (8 ml): This I was also gifted on the bachelorette party
The body shop - Body butter Shea (8 ml): I also got this one in the goodie bag at the bachelorette party. This especially will come in super handy, as my skin is starting to get really dry.
What have you bought so far into the year?

Beauty goals for 2020 - final results
So how did my beauty goals for 2020 go?
- No nail polish purchases - successful
- No purchases just because there is a discount - I did buy two items in 2020, just because there was a discount: a body butter from The Body Shop, and a sunscreen from Biotherm
- Maximum one cream eyeshadow purchase for the year 2020 - successful, as I did not buy even one cream eyehsadow in 2020.
- Keep an ongoing wishlist - this I did stick to, and even published one on this blog.
- Only one lipstick purchase - successful, as I did not even buy one lip product this year.
Did you have a goal to finish anything up this year?

Beauty goals for 2019 - Results
- Not to buy any colored nail-polishes (nail strengheners and top coats not included in the definition of "colored nail-polish"). = I bought one nail topcoat from Essie (with a colored nail polish in a duo pack) = Small fail
- No impulse buys, or buys just because there is a sale or discount = I did buy a Clarins eyeshadow brush on 40% discount (but I had been thinking of buying a brush like that before). Also I bought Inglot duraline, and a pink Inglot eyeshadow, as the store was closing in Iceland. Plus the fact I did buy a totally unnecessary lipstick and concealer on Christmas eve = Big fail
- Max 1 perfume purchase = Did not purchase one perfum the entire year of 2019 = Success
- No buy January and No buy March - maybe other months to be scheduled later on = Kept a No buy January and a No buy March - did not schedule other no buy months though! = Success
- Max 2 eye-shadow palette purchases = Bought one eyeshadow palette, and was gifted one = Success
- Max 2 brush purchases = Bought three = Small fail

Beauty goals for 2018 - Six month update
I have reached my goal for four of the items from the project pan
I have finished two of the items which are as follows:
The body shop - Vitamin C skin boost (30 ml): I managed to finish this product up, it was a kind of a serum/primer - will probably not repurchase as I did not like the consistency of the cream - as it had a bit of a silicone feeling to it - but I prefer more creamy or liquid products.
Dove - Repair therapy, Color radiance hair mask (200 ml): managed to use this one up, but it only had about 3-4 applications left.
The other two items I have reached my goal on are these two:
Wet and wild - nailpolish in the color 442A (14 ml): this has finally reached the point that it's almost impossible to use, it is super thick and takes FOREVER to dry - but I really love the color and as it turns out it has been hard to replace.
Maybelline - depotted eyeshadow in a champagne shimmery color: my goal on this product was to hit pan, and was a roll-over product from 2017. And in fact I managed to hit pan early January!
The progress on other products:
Dove - intense repair overnight cream (120 ml): I have used a little less than half of what was left of the overnight hair mask, I for sure have to use it more consistently for the remainder of the year.
Bourjois Paris - Happy light luminous serum primer (15 ml): Sadly I did not mark this product in the start of the year, but it is clear I have used very little of it. So I will for sure have to use it more consistently for the next six months.
Lancome le crayon kohl noir (0,7 g): At the start of this year this measured 3,5 cm and now it measures 3 cm long. So in six months I have managed to use up 0,5 cm of it.
Clinique - Blush in Fig (1,8 g): I have for sure expanded the pan on this blush since the beginning of the project. But I am not using it right now, as I am giving it a bit of a break over the summer, so I can use some of my other blushes.
Estée Lauder - Double wear, stay in place powder makeup SPF 10 (16 g) - color 2N2 Fresco 01: I can see a small "wear" in this one, at the beginning of the year only a quarter of the pan rings was showing, but now the entire ring is showing. But according to this progress, I might think it is impossible for me to use this item up in this year. But all progress is good, and I will keep using it, it is one of my favorite foundations, and better yet, it does not seem to aggravate my perioral dermatitis.
And then there is one item missing in the photos, as the pump broke on my body lotion:
Victoria's secret - Unwrap me, beauty rush, whipped cream and winter pear, body dial-a-shimmer lotion (200 ml): as the pump broke on this one, I managed to crank it open and depot it, I reckon I have finished half of it - which is quite convenient as then I will for sure manage to finish it before the end of the year.
Have you had any progress on your goals for 2018?

Beauty goals for 2018
My second goal for this year, is to put a 12 item limit for the year of new makeup products and nail polishes (so I guess I would say a 12 item limit on color cosmetics). As I have more makeup than I can ever use, I really want to purchase fewer items, and get to use and enjoy the items I already have this year.
