Empties 2024

So how did I do in 2024 on using up stuff? Let's take a look..

Skincare, cleansers, spf and facial sprays

Skin care, concealer, gloss and more

Items used up on holiday

Facial soap, powder and lip balm

Sheet masks and skincare samples

Items I used up:

Kiehl's - Creamy eye treatment with avocado (14 ml): I did like this eye cream, the only annoying thing about it, is the fact that the formula always separates from time to time, oil away from cream, so you have to shake it back together.
Lancome - Hydra zen anti-stress moisturising cream (30 ml): This facial cream is super light, and worked well over the summer. It was not moisturizing enough for me in the winter.
Clinique - Take the day off cleansing balm (125 ml): This was a part of my project pan for 2024 and I do really like it, even though I promised myself not to repurchase I already fell to temptation at TJ Maxx.
Lumene - Pure arctic miracle micellar cleansing water (500 ml): This item I purchased years ago whilst in Finland visiting a friend, it had started to get a bit yellow in the bottle, and I could see like floating oil on top of the liquid inside the bottle, so it was about time for it to be used up.
The body shop - Aloe calming toner (250 ml): This toner has remained my tried and true toner for a few years.
Nivea - Care & orange shower cream (250 ml): This I purchased while on holiday in Greece years ago. It was an average shower cream.
Supergoop - Zinc screen 100% mineral lotion SPF 40 (50 ml): This bottle is labelled at the bottom to expire in April 2021 - finally it is finished. I now already have two sunscreens going.
Evian - Brumisateur facial spray, moisturizes, refreshes, tones (50 ml): This was gifted to me from one of my airlines passenger, and as it comes in a small bottle, I kind of swapped the toner I intended to pan in 2024 out for this one, and moved it into my work purse and aimed to spray it once per flight. There is a tiny bit left in the bottle, but I can not spray it out. So it is pretty much done, seriously doubt I would buy it though.
Rudolph care - Acai facial mist toner (30 ml): If I remember correctly I purchased this one in the duty free at CPH airport a while back. I ended up putting it in my travel bag, and that way it was used up quickly and I am sure I will use the bottle for something else in the near future.
Dr. Organic - Organic snail gel (50 ml):
Biossance - Squalane + omega repair cream (15 ml):
Five vits - Daily shampoo (40 ml): This and the conditioner is in one of our hotels we stay at in the US for work. It is the perfect size for travel and was used up either on a trip or when I go to the gym. It is a decent shampoo.
Five vits - Daily conditioner (40 ml): Decent conditioner, I have dark colored hair, and am not in particular fuzzy about shampoos or conditioners. And usually find them to be of an ok quality, the same goes for this one - the scent I love in particular, it does not smell like any conditioner I have smelled before.
Vichy - Aqualia thermal rehydrating cream light (50 ml): This I purchased in Canada summer of 2019 - so it was way past it expiration date (8/21). And the fact that the serum remains in my stash seriously has made me rethink about buying so many items that they keep on expiring in my closets before I get around to using them.
Abercrombie & Fitch - First instinct eau de parfum (2 ml): I really like the scent of this perfume. I do not smell after I apply it, so I guess it suits me well. I might even consider purchasing it as I seem to have developed a sensitivity to fragrances in the last few years, and many of the scents I try spraying on in store, and wear throughout the day tend to give me a headache or I can smell them through the remainder of the day (and I mean not in a good way).
Clarins - Mascara supra volume in 01 intense black (3.5 ml): I really loved this mascara, and that even for a natural bristle brush wand (I used to love plastic wands). This I believe came in a gift set I purchased for myself. Would consider repurchasing if I did not have a backup stash of 4 or 5 mascaras or more.
Rimmel - Wonder'full brow 24hr waterproof brow mascara with fibres (4.5 ml): This I won in some online game, and got it for free. It is actually amazing! I am not sure what the color is, I assume it is 002 and I love it in my brows! Will repurchase for sure when I get through the clear gels in my stash.
Crabtree & Evelyn - Pear and pink magnolia hand therapy (25 ml): A nice hand cream, not amazing though.
Drunk Elephant - Beste no. 9 jelly cleanser (30 ml): This I got as a part of a Sephora birthday gift a few years back. Since it has lived in my gym bag, and now just got finished.
Ecooking - Night cream (50 ml): I loved this night cream, and as a matter of a fact, I think it is the first night cream I ever purchased or tried. It smells a bit herbal, but I believe it is a clean brand and has good ingredients.
Bio effect - EGF day serum (2 x 5 ml): I have no recollection on where I got these from, gift with purchase or what, but they were nice, but happy I got to use up a few samples/testers this year.
The body shop - Aloe soothing toner (250 ml): Another empties of my favorite toner, it has since last empties bottle been reformulated and now is in a different packaging. Thank god the formula has not changed too much and is gentle enough on my sensitive skin.
Taramar - Night treatment (10 ml): Me and my crew were gifted this from one of our passengers who worked for the brand and was going abroad for a meeting. It has a BBF date: June 2022 - so glad I got to use it up, even a bit after it's BBF date.
Lily Lolo - BB cream in light (40 ml): This is a nice and clean formula, and did not irritate my skin at all. It also is a light weight formula, which is perfect to apply with my fingers, and blends out nice - which I usually prefer vs. a fussy formula.
Bio effect - EGF body serum (7 ml): I have a full size of this product, it is really nice. But a tester of 7 ml - I can not remember how much skin that covers...
Dior - Diorshow Maximizer 3D triple action lash primer-serum (10 ml): This I stopped using after I got an eye infection, but omg it's AMAZING - I love it. Have already repurchased an updated new formula.
Guinot - Nouvelle Vie cream first signs of aging (15 ml): Another Guinot item from the Guinot calendar I got for Christmas 2022 - I ended up putting it in my work bag for when I stay in the US or Canada for work - perfect size for travel.
Yves Saint Laurent - Gloss volupte probably in shade 30 (6 ml?): This gloss I have had for years, and as you probably can see on the picture, it is completely empty, removed stopper and all! The sticker underneath it has lost all it's writing, so I am guessing it is the shade 30.
Collection - Lasting perfection concealer in Fair 1 (4 ml?): Almost all the writing on the packaging has rubbed off, so I am not sure how much product was in this concealer, but the packaging sold now from the brand contains 4 ml, so I am guessing it is the same amount. This has lived in the last years in my travel makeup bag I used for work abroad. I did remove the stopper and used it up - or at least to the point I am not getting any usable product on the wand.
The body shop - Cool cucumber softening body butter (200 ml): This was a part of my project pan 2024, and was used up whilst on holiday in Greece, where I made it my mission to finish a few items up to be able to keep my checked in luggage under 14 kg on my flight leg from Rhodes to Athens. This body butter I had not used a lot before starting my project pan, and to my surprise it was in fact cooling, and gave a cool sensation after using it - which made it perfect for holiday in Greece. As I did not prefer to use it just before bed at home in Iceland.
Five vits - Body lotion (40 ml): This had lived in my travel cosmetics bag for work, and ended up with me on holiday to Greece, where it was used up.
Peter Thomas Roth - Mega rich body wash (27 ml): This I got in a hotel years back, and took with me on holiday to Greece. And used it up
Proganix - Cherry blossom + (Vitamin B5) Anti-fade weightless argan oil + uv protection (100 ml): This I am sure I bought about 9 or 10 years ago whilst on holiday in the US. A hair sunscreen, I only tend to use this on holiday, so of course it was thrown into my suitcase for a holiday in Greece, where it was finished. Ideal to use for a day at the beach or for sight-seeing.
Hawaiian Tropic - Sunscreen lotion sheer touch spf 30 (236 ml): This is an excellent sunscreen, this I bought in the US and I am sure it differs a bit from the Hawaiian tropic sunscreen they sell in Europe in regards to ingredients. I tend to use zink based sunscreens for my face, and chemical sunscreens for my body - and this one did not irritate my skin.
Shea Moisture - African black soap with shea butter (99 g): This still remains my go to facial cleanser or facial soap. I discovered it a few years back as it was recommended for perioral dermatitis. It does not aggravate my skin, does not strip it too much. As it is a piece of soap bar it is difficult to keep track of when I finish it, plus I keep one bar at home and one in my travel bag. But I know for a fact that I did finish the bar I had in my travel kit for work. So I am sure this is under-represented in the last few years empties.
Milani - Prep + set + glow illuminating transparent powder in shade 02 (8.5 g): This item was a part of my project pan 2022, I did not finish it that year, and ended up using it at the end of 2024. I used it as a setting powder and it worked very well as such, did not dry my skin out, and not too glowing.
Villimey - Varagaldur (15 ml): This remains my favorite lip balm, and will be repurchased for sure some time in the future.
The Face shop - Real nature Olive face mask with olive extract (20 g): This I purchased in Toronto a few years back, in my stash it as a matter of fact expired in 2021 - I still decided to use it, once as a sheet mask, and then a lot remained in the packaging and I was able to slather it all over my face probably three times after I used the sheet mask. It is a nice face mask, but I did not notice any miracles. but sure it boosted moisture in the skin.
Nature republic - Real nature mask sheet olive (23 ml): This is the same face mask as the previous one, just in a new and seemingly rebranded packaging. This my friend gifted it to me who went to Korea. And happy to report that this one had not expired yet.
Caudalie - Vinoperfect radiance serum complexion correcting (10 ml): This bottle I did use up on my project pan 2024 - but it is missing in the photos, as I seem to have misplaced the bottle. I really loved this serum and would consider repurchasing.
Caudalie - Vinoperfect radiance serum complexion correcting (3 x 1.5 ml): These are small samples I got at Sephora, of the same product as mentioned above.
Tatcha - The indigo cleansing balm (1.5 ml): Another sample I got from Sephora. It was nice, would I consider buying it after trying it in a single use packaging? In one word; no.

Decluttered items of 2024

Decluttered items:

Sunday Riley - A+ high dose retinoid serum, 6.5% retinoid blend, CoQ10 + honey (5 ml): I have had this sample since 2019 and was about to give this a whirl early this year, but when the product came out, it was all separated and runny - so down the drain it went. Not sure my skin would tolerate a high dose retinoid anyway.
Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24 hr gel cream eyeshaddow in 35 On and on bronze (3.9 gr): This I have owned for years, and it was a part of my project pan for 2019. I have made some small progress on this since 2019, but it is very thick, stiff and difficult to use. As I have plenty of newer creamy eyeshadows in my stash, it makes more sense to use them rather than this one.
W7 - Brow grip (13.5 gr): My friend was decluttering a few items from her stash, and gifted this to me, it turned out to work out the same for me as for my friend - it leaving whitish clumps in my eyebrows so it was only used about 2 times, and now ends where it belongs in the trash.
Unknown brand - Double liner (? gr): My mom gave this to me a few years back, it was a gift with some magazine she bought. Light champagne pink on one side and vine red on the other. I have perhaps used it 4 times, and now it needs to move out.

So this in all amounts to the fact I used up 25 full items, 11 small sized items and 8 samples (44 in total). Compared to last year I used up 49 items in total, but fewer fuller items and more samples. So for sure using more samples, takes a toll of your full sized items. Of the decluttered items in 2024 I decluttered 3 full size products and one sample. Compared to 2023 I decluttered 3 full size items and no samples.

Empties 2023

I managed to finish quite a lot of products in the year 2023 - and then I decided quite early on to declutter an eyeshadow trio from Kat Von D, as I tried it early on in the year and the performance was below par, and nothing close to when I got it in the first place.

The main empties

All sorts of empties

Samples, a soap, face masks etc.

I am missing an empties picture of this sunscreen

Decluttered items of 2023

Harklinikken - Daily conditioner normal to dry hair (290 ml): this was an excellent conditioner, quite pricy for what it is, but it was very nice.
Tabaibaloe la marca de canarias - Aloe cream face and body islas canarias (300 ml): My friend gave me this body lotion a few years back, it came in super handy on this years summer holiday, as it is the perfect after sun lotion.
Elizabeth Arden - Green tea honey drop body cream (500 ml): This body cream was a part of my 2023 project pan, it was a very nice body cream, and I would repurchase when I run out of my stash. You can hardly see it in the picture, but it is there in the back.
Alberto Balsam - Exotic mango shampoo (350 ml): This is 100% the worst shampoo I have ever tried, I originally bought it to shampoo my Barbie dolls and My little pony - toys when I went through my childhood toys a few years back. But I decided to try to use it up, I could not use this shampoo every time I washed my hair, it is that stripping. but once in a while it was ok, and did not wreck my hair.
Meraki - lip balm lime (4.8 g): This was an average lip balm, not great but not awful. Glad it is finished and will not purchase in the future.
Rituals - Conditioner cherry blossom and rice milk (25 ml): This definitely originates from one of the hotels I have stayed at, and for sure has been used up on a holiday or at the gym. Using these types of hair products 2-3 times does not give a lasting impression, and I do not have a solid opinion of this product.
Drunk Elephant - Protini polypeptide cream (15 ml): This I was gifted from Sephora, and I think I have finished 2 of these. It was a nice face cream.
Dr. Organic - Organic manuka honey cream (50 ml): I think this is the second bottle I finish of this face cream. I really like it, and I think it keeps my perioral dermatitis in check. I will 100% repurchase in the future.
Kiehls - Midnight recovery concentrate (4 ml): This was a part of my project pan 2023, my skin is super sensitive, and I am not sure it can handle this on a long term basis. So I will not purchase.
Lancome - Eau micellaire confort (50 ml): I really liked this micellar water as a makeup remover, but I am not sure it will perform that much better than your average micellar water.
Lancome - Bi Facil (30 ml): One of my favorite eye-makeup remover of all time. I got this tester some while back. Will repurchase always.
Evy Technology - Sunscreen mousse 30 spf (150 ml): One of my favorite sunscreen mousse, too bad you can not get this everywhere as it is super good, and supposed to protect your skin to a deeper layer than your average sunscreen.
Caudalie - Beauty elixir (30ml): This was a part of my project pan 2023, I like this product but it is a bit to perfumie for me, so I would not repurchase. But it was nice to try one of these super hyped beauty products.
Dr. Hauschka - Facial toner (10 ml): I really like this toner, and would consider to buy it full size, it smells a little bit herbal though. But I do believe that Dr. Hauschka is a clean brand and does not contain harmful chemicals. It is also a big plus that this product comes in a small glass container - that makes me feel it is even more cleaner.
Nature Republic -Snail solution skin booster - brightening and wrinkle improvement (sample): I am not sure how much product was in this, perhaps 5-8 ml. I used it up, if I saw any benefit - I am not sure.
The Body Shop - Aloe calming toner (250 ml): My favorite toner, will repurchase forever.
Bio Effect - EGF Serum (15 ml): I really like this product! This was gifted to me at work some years back. I will buy some time in the future, when I have managed to use some of the products up I have stocked up.
Lancome - Tonique confort - Rehydrating skincare lotion (50 ml): This product I really liked, it was milky pink in color and felt super gentle on my skin. Might perhaps buy sometime in the future.
Korres - Body milk fresh citrus (30 ml): This like so many of my miniatures originates at some hotel, as this is a Greek brand it always raises my interest. The scent is quite masculine, and was used up at the end of the year specially to declutter my stash.
Lancome - Hypnose mascara 01 black (6.2 ml): I was gifted this mascara a few years back (either 2019 or 2020) as a part of Lancome Idole launch - but I dragged my mom to the mall and we got a gift bag, full of Lancome products.
Express - Love Express eau de parfum (10 ml): I bought this in Express, years ago. I really like the scent and seriously considered to buy it full size few years back. Not so sure today, but it is mild enough for me to be able to wear it, but when I browsed the perfume aisle in Hagkaup, the biggest beauty department in a supermarket in Iceland I found most of the new scents to be quite heavy and to potent - and I would unlikely to be able to wear it.
Sin Kov - Insect repellent (100 ml): This I bought in Turkey years ago, I did finish it in Crete this summer. It did me wrong though, as I probably did not spray enough on and got severely bitten - to the point I had to see a doctor and get a shot.
Becca - First light priming filter (15 ml): This was a part of a set, and I put this particular item into my project pan for 2023. It was almost full when I started out, and managed to finish it within the course of one year. I do not use makeup every dag, but I tried to make an effort to use this primer when I did, so now I can assume I will be able to finish 15 ml of primer in one year.
Blue Lagoon Iceland - Hand cream (7 ml): This was just an average hand cream, not awful but not great either.
The Body Shop - British rose hand cream (sample): This hand cream is among the worst I have tried, it is super light, and the scent of rose unbearable. But did finish it this December to be able to declutter it.
Boots - Moisturising nail polis remover pads (15 pads): This I purchased in Boots years ago, and it does come in super handy on a holiday - as you do not need to take with you a bottle of acetone which can wreck havoc in your suitcase.
Sóley - Græðir hand cream (50 ml): This on the other hand is amongst the top three hand creams I have ever tried. Will repurchase for sure (if I do not forget how good it is).
The body shop - Vitamin C microdermabrasion facial exfoliator (75 ml): This had been lingering in my shower for years, so it was about time for me to finish it up. I did not use it that often, but it worked well when my skin was giving me some issues.
The body shop - Hemp hard working hand protector (10 ml): This is for sure in my top 3 hand creams of all time.
Primo Bagno - Aloe vera gel 100% organic (100 ml): This I purchased in Greece a few years back, and did come in handy as an after sun on my holidays this year.
Lancome - Hydra Zen Jelly mask - Anti stress rehydrating mask (15 ml): This came with the Lancome gift set I got in the mall with my mom in 2019/2020 - even though it was only 15 ml it lasted quite a while. I did even try to finish it up in 2022 without success.
Victorias Secret - Lip gloss in cookie kiss (13 g): This I tried to finish in my project pan 2021 without success, I have been working on it ever since, unofficially and finally I managed to finish it up, and I mean completely, as I did cut the packaging up, and OMG the amount that remained inside the packaging after I was not able to squeeze anything more out of it.
Jergens - BB Body perfecting skin cream (221 ml): Another product I tried to pan in my project pan 2021 without success, but I had really gone a long way with it, and it only took a few uses in the beginning of 2023 to use it up.
Carroten - Be cool after sun tissue face mask (20 ml): This was a brilliant purchase in Crete early summer 2023 and I did use it on that one week holiday, but it contained a whopping 20 ml of product, so I was able to use the remaining product a few times more as a serum.
Sea Moisture - African black soap (227 g): This is my favorite facial soap, and I continue to purchase it time and time again, as it suits my skin and seems to be able to keep my perioral dermatitis in check.
Neutrogena - Cica-repair hand mask (20 g): I was gifted this hand mask, and it contained two tissue gloves, and it worked like a charm.
Caudalie - Vinoperfect radiance serum (1.5 ml): I got a few of these testers at Sephora, and what a great thing to have in my suitcase for work or for travel.
Peter Thomas Roth - Water drench hyaluronic clout rich barrier moisturizer (2 ml): This was used in the same way as the previous product, probable at one of my stop-overs in the US for work. I am very interested in these skin barrier creams, and it has been on my radar to buy one of those in the near future. Not sure it will be this one though, even though it was light and very moisturizing.
Nature Republic - Real nature mask sheet tomato (23 ml): This I probably used that early on in the year I do not remember this product in particular. But I am sure as it contains a lot of product I was able to use the remaining product in the packaging as a serum for a few days after I used the sheet mask itself.
Dr. Belmeur Advanced - Cica recovery serum (1.5 ml): This had lived in my skincare travel bag for quite some time, so I decided it was time for me to make use of it.
Taramar - The serum skin restoring bioactive formula (1.5 ml?): I was gifted this tester at work some while ago, so it was about time to use it up.
Garnier - Moisture bomb sheet mask Super hydrating + revitalizing mask, hyaluronic acid + pomegranate extract (28 g): Another facemask I did use up this year. The only downside of these single use face mask is that they contain so much product, so a lot of it remains in the packaging after you use it, so you end up using the leftover product for several days as a facial serum.
Pharmaid - Aloe treasures - Intimate care mild antiseptic cleansing liquid with 100% organic aloe vera + tea trea oil & bisabolol (5 ml): This I got as a gift with purchase in one of these cream and olive oil stores in Crete last summer. I originally mistook it for aloe vera gel - but when in fact it was an intimate cleanser!! And what a surprise, if I had tried it right away I would have bought it full size while on holiday in Greece.
Kalliston - Sun protect cream face & body 30 spf (2 ml): This I got at the same time as the previous sample. And I did use it whilst on holiday in Turkey.
The body shop - Body butter almond milk (8 ml): I really love the body butters from the body shop and this was no exception.
Dr. Hauschka - Rose day cream (1.5 ml): This I did also use up either on holiday or at work. I do love all the Dr. Hauschka products I have tried, it was a little bit thick but very nice.
Biotherm - Aquasorce gel (1 ml): This like the others I did use up probably at work. It was ok, but in general I am not a fan of gel creams.
Biotherm - Aquasorce aura concentrate intense regenerating serum (2 ml): This serum was very liquidy, again I probably used it up at work. But I am always quite skeptical about "intense" products and am afraid they will agitate my perioral dermatitis. But these small samples rarely do though.
Sulwhasoo - Essential comfort firming cream (1 ml): Another tester that had lived for some time in my work/travel skincare beauty bag, so it was about time for me to use it up.
Hawaiian Tropic - Silk hydration protective sun lotion (180 ml): I am missing an empties picture of this product as I finished it on my summer holiday in Turkey this autumn, and forgot it in one of my hotel rooms during that trip. I love the smell, but sadly the ingredients might not be the best.
Kat Von D - True romance eyeshadow in dreamer (7 g): I apparently bought this in Seattle 2013 - so it is roughly 10 years old, and I only used it a couple of times. In retrospect I am happy I bought on a sale, but perhaps I would preferred I had not bought it at all. When I tried it at the start of the year 2023 and it performed awfully I decided to declutter it from my collection.
L.A. Colors - eyeshadow in Onyx (3 g?): As this shadow has been depotted I am not sure how many grams of product it contains. But as I have not reached for this shade in years it was time to get rid of it from my palette of depotted eyeshadows.
Urban Decay - Eyeshadow primer potion (6 ml): My original plan was not to declutter this, but when I was looking for the time I purchased the KVD eyeshadow I realized I bought this product at the same time, and as I rarely use it and as the formula has a tendency to separate, I decided it was due to declutter it.

So all in all I used up 22 full size products, 11 small size products and 16 samples (49 in total). I think I have never used as many samples in one year. As for the items I decluttered; 2 full size and 1 small size product.

Did you use up a lot of items this year?

Empties January - December 2022

So for the duration of 2022 I have collected all the items I have finished up during the year - and it is a lot! So I can say this is a successful year of using up stuff.. and then I also did somewhat of a de-clutter, which was really needed, in particular within the color cosmetics "category" as some of my cosmetics are were getting old and had at this point expired.

Items finished abroad in July 2022

Skincare, hair care, body care empties

Skincare, cleaners and color cosmetics empties

Face masks, eye masks and serum testers

Face mask, serum testers, hair mask and body lotion tester

De-clutters of 2022

Clinique - Mineral sunscreen fluid for face SPF 30 (30 ml): I finished this sunscreen when I was on holiday in Croatia. I had owned it for a few years, and love the formula, light a little bit oily and it even works under a foundation.
Crabtree & Evelyn -Verbena and lavender body lotion (24 ml): This I must have gotten at one of my hotel stays, and I decided to grab it with me to go for a one week holiday in Croatia, as it would be allowed on my carry-on luggage, and that was the only luggage I took with me on that holiday. It is just an average milky body lotion.
The Body Shop - Avocado body butter (8 ml): This was also a perfect size to take with me on holiday - and it is an amazing body butter, super rich and nourishing on skin that has spent a day in the sun.
TRESemmé - Moisture rich conditioner (500 ml): One of the better hair conditioner I have purchased in Bónus supermarket in Iceland. I would 100% buy it again.
John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette moisturizing shampoo (750 ml): This bottle has lasted me several years and I am always as happy about it - not stripping but leaves your hair clean.
Pantene Pro V miracles - Grow strong biotin + bamboo shampoo (400 ml): I still love the Pantene Pro shampoos in general and this is no exception.
Natural Olive - Body lotion (35 ml): This is probably the biggest bullshit product I have ever gotten at one of my hotel stays around the world - as I got this in Greece, world renowned for their olives - and this body lotion was made in China! Really? Yes, just an average body milk that I randomly used up.
The Body Shop - Sweet lemon shower gel (250 ml): a good standard shower gel - was gifted to me a few years ago.
Apivita - Face and body milk apricot and calendula SPF 50 (150 ml): This I picked up while on holiday in Greece a few years back, it had a heavy smell of apricot, but I really grew to love the scent - the cream was super thick and white and could get stuck in your swimsuit, but it did a good job of protecting you from the sun. After I could not squeeze a drop more out of the tube, I cut it in half and got so much more use out of it.
Kiss my face - Natural active life aluminum chlorohydrate & paraben free deodorant (70 g): I bought five of these deodorants a few years back when I was trying to find a aluminum free deodorant, and as this was scent free and only available in a 5 pack - I ordered it and gifted a few of them to friends and family and finally finished mine last year, and then I mean completely finished it - dug out the remaining product in the base and used every bit of it.
The Body Shop - Boost uplifting hair and body wash (tester): I got this as a free gift with purchase when I bought something in The Body Shop, it was surprisingly good (for a shampoo + body wash product) and I loved the scent - I would even consider to buy it full size.
Zenology -Nourishing shampoo (30 ml): one of my hotel shampoos, perfect for the gym or while travelling.
Sóley Organics - Eygló moisturiser (50 ml): I love this face cream. It has clean and I assume organic ingredients and did not irritate my skin at all. The company even offers a refill - so I can take the container to the company and just pay for the refill. I will for sure do that some time in the future.
Peter Thomas Roth - Mega rich shampoo (24 ml): this is an ok shampoo, a little bit stripping for my hair, but is ok to use from time to time.
Crabtree & Evelyn - La source ultra moisturizing hand therapy (25 g): this hand cream is quite good, but excellent maybe not.
& Other stories - Fig Fiction hand cream (30 ml): also this was a good hand cream, better than the Crabtree & Evelyn one.
The Body Shop - Aloe calming toner (250 ml): my absolute favorite toner - will keep on repurchasing.
Sephora - Waterproof eye makeup remover (200 ml): one of those good eye makeup removers that mixes an oil and water based cleanser.
CeraVe - Micellar cleansing water (295 ml): my friend absolutely swears by this product - I on the other hand did not find it so amazing.
Thayers - Witch hazel aloe vera formula cucumber toner (89 ml): this size I thought to be the ultimate travel size, or for the gym - the only downside is the cap that apparently opens up super easily - and spills in your gym bag, so sadly half of this product, literally went to waste.
Santorini herbals - Eye cream lightening (30 ml): as the name might suggest I did pick up this product in Santorini - buying skincare, that can be kind of a souvenir, right? It was quite good though.
Blue lagoon - Hydrating cream (20 ml): this I mistakenly opened thinking it was a face mask, as it comes in the same packaging. This was a "deluxe" sized tester and it was nothing beyond an average face cream.
Lumene - Instant glow beauty serum (30 ml): I used this as a light foundation. It was super light and serum-like and gave a luminous finish.
Skyn Iceland - Pure cloud cream (10 ml): this I used up at the start of the year, and do not remember anything in particular about this cream other than I thought it was pleasant and fluffy in texture.
Estee Lauder - Advanced night repair (7 ml): as many people swear by this product, I can not say I was blow away by it, but then again I did not use it consistently - if anything I think it aggravated my perioral dermatitis, so I would stay away from it in the future. But it was a part of my Project pan 2022 - so indeed I am glad it is finished.
Golden Rose - City style mascara (9 ml): this mascara is one of my favorite mascaras - too bad I am on a mascara ban, and have way to many samples waiting for me to open them up - other vise it would be repurchased.
Gina Tricot - Beauty eyes eyeshadow in 42 caramel (1.8 g): this eyeshadow was the perfect crease color, and was part of my Beauty goals for 2021 - and the fact that there was so little left of it by the end of 2021 I continued using it for every day in 2022 until it crumbled and turned to dust and I used up every single dust of it (well apart from those who literally fell down the drain).
Mac - Studio fix fluid in NC15 (tester): this tiny tester lasted me surprisingly long, it was quite good color match for me. And surprisingly did not irritate my perioral dermatitis.
Yves Sant Laaurent - Volupté tint in oil No. 4 (6 ml): this product was a part of my Project pan 2022 and I had been on a mission to use it up - so finally it is finished. It was good, but I was a bit tired of it after putting it into my project pan.
Dr. Bragi - Marine enzyme intensive treatment mask (10 ml): don't get me wrong, this is a good face mask, but I am sure it is not worth the price tag, but I have a sense Dr. Bragi products are super expensive, but I received this as a gift.
Real Nature - Calendula face mask (20 g): this brand is WAY extra in the amount it carries in their face masks - after wearing the mask on my face, I was able to use the tissue to wipe my entire body down and it was still a bit moist after - and there was plenty of liquid left in the pouch, which I poured into a small jar and used several times after it's initial use.
Real Nature - Cucumber face mask (20 g): The same was for this face mask, plenty of product, and I was able to use the left over liquid for a few applications. Feels moisturizing and calming.
Blue Lagoon - Silica mud mask (7 ml): I am always a little bit apprehensive about the Blue Lagoon products, as some of them are super strong, and some of them even leave my skin a little bit red afterwards. This is the "flagship" product of the lagoon, and it does indeed work, and you literally feel how super soft it leaves your skin afterwards.
Nature Republic - Vitapair C dark spot serum (tester): my friend gifted this to me, and as I was already on a roll with testers I decided to use this one up as well.
Bio Effect - Eye mask (2 sheets x 1.25 g): eye-masks always leave me a little bit baffled as I do not have dry skin under my eyes - so I always wonder if they do something at all - and that turned out to be the same for this one.
It cosmetics - Confidence in a cream (tester): even though the tester was small, I could well consider to buy it full size one day.
Taramar - Day treatment cell activating cream (tester): this tester lasted 2 or 3 times and was ok
Skyn Iceland - Hydro cool firming face gels - for forehead (6 g): The texture of this I remember was a bit unique, a bit gel like - and really felt cooling. This was gifted to me and I sincerely believe I would have tried it out or would repurchase.
Garnier - Moisture bomb tissue mask (32 g): This face mask even contains more product than the Real Nature one, and the liquid left in the pouch I was able to use for other applications.
Caudalie - Vinoperfect radiance serum (2x 1.5 ml): these small packs are perfect for work to take with me abroad - even though one of these packets lasts for 2-3 applications.
Mythos - Hair mask olive extract + honey (7 ml): This would have been perfect to take with me on the holiday to Croatia - as the end of my hair turned to shit with the sun and sea - and I had to buy the only available hair mask brand on the island of Vis - which turned out to be a huge jar.
The Body Shop - Shea body butter (8 ml): like most of the body butters from The Body Shop, it did not disappoint.

Then to the de-clutters of 2022:
Korres - Sunflower and evening primrose eyeshadow - 47 Olive green (1.8 g): This eyeshadow had clearly gone bad, I have the feeling the oils in it have dried out and when I tried to apply it several times at the end of the year (either with a brush or with my fingers) hardly any color was deposited. I even tried to scrape some top layer off, but that did not make any difference. So out it goes. I bought it in 2015 - and it states on the back to have a 36 month shelf life - so I guess it was just past it's due date.
Kiko Make up Milano - Face 103: I bought this brush while on holiday in Milano as a matter of fact in 2012. It is a type they do not make anymore, so I am not sure if it is a real hair brush, but I suspect so as the brush picked up quite a lot of product, and the hairs had started to become brittle and were braking so much I decided to retire it and replace it with another brush from Kiko my friend picked up for me on holiday a few years ago. It will remain as the "golden standard" of brushes, as I really liked the slanted cut and how it applied blush. So much as a matter of fact I did repair it a few years ago, when the metal part fell of the handle and I did glue it back. And it did last just over 10 years and it will be missed - but it is just to annoying to use at this point.
Too Faced - Lipstick in the color Marcia Marcia Marcia (3.5 g): This lipstick is probably one of the oldest items in my entire collection, and I know exactly when and where I bought it - in Sephora in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2008 - and it was on sale! I have perhaps used about 1/3 of the bullet, it is a very pink shimmery color, but was perfect with other lipsticks as a "highlight" on the center of the lips.
Clinique - Long last glosswear SPF 15 - 04 Sunset (2.3 ml): This gloss my mom gave to me when she was rampaging through some of her closet space - it was always super sticky and the color too coppery. I never used it, so it is about time to let it go.
Milani - Lipstick in 26 Nude crème (3.97 g): This I purchased with a gift card in an online store that used to operate in Iceland a few years back. But the issue from day one was the fact that the color did not suit me at all - either my skin tone or hair color - it just did not work out.
GrandeLash MD - Lash enhancing serum (2 ml): This product was one of the products in my Project pan 2022, but it did not turn better out than that I used it a bit at the start of 2022 - and then I took a session in the later half of the year, but then my eyes became super sensitive and after watching a Youtube video about the main active ingredient in this product I ended up pouring it down the drain - to stop me from using it any further.
Wet 'n' Wild - Fergie lipstick - A033 Fergie daily (0.1 oz): This is another prime example of an awful color on me! When on me, it mostly reminds me of "concealer" lips. Way old as well, probably bought on a holiday in US in 2015.
Wet 'n' Wild - Eye shadow palette - 738 Comfort zone (8 shades original version): I probably got this palette in NYC 2014, and I had depotted it, put magnets under the pans and put it into my Inglot palette. But as one of the Project pan 2022 missions was to de-clutter some old items from my collection, so when going over few older items in my collection, I came to this palette, and OMG it smelled like old Crayola wax-colors, so it was time to throw this away.

This for sure is the biggest amount of items I have used up in a year, and also the biggest de-clutter I have done so far - now I just have to stay focused on the goal, to get rid of more stuff than I am bringing in.

Empties September - December 2018

Here they are the items I used up from September to December 2018, also there are included two declutters.

Empties + declutters September - December 2018

Beauty by Zazie - Nail polish remover (250 ml): a generic nail polish remover, I found this one to be very dry and hard on my nails and will for sure next time buy one more suited for sensitive, and dry nails.
Peter Thomas Roth - Mega rich body lotion (24 ml): a small body lotion I got at a hotel some years back. It had a thin and light consistency that sunk into the skin very rapidly.
Dove - Intense repair overnight cream (120 ml): finally managed to finish this hair repair cream. Would I buy it again? Probably not
Clinique - Bottom lash mascara in 01 black (2 ml): This I bought on a whim some time ago, I found it a bit dried out from day one, and would for sure not recommend or buy again.
Lumene - Bright now visible repair, tone corrector serum (30 ml): A light creamy consistent serum/cream. Would I recommend? Yes I absolutely recommend and love everything I have tried by this brand.
Abercrombie & Fitch - First instinct - woman eau de toilette (2 ml): A nice scent but considering my stash of perfumes, I do not need one more at this time.
Gosh - Darling lashes, extreme volume mascara (10 ml): When I cracked open into this one I found out it had dried out, so this is a decluttered item.
Boots - Ingredients - Sheet face mask, charcoal & willow bark, cleansing & purifying (20 ml): This mask had a whopping 20 ml, and after using the sheet mask inside, I was able to use the remaining liquid in the packaging for 2 more applications. It had a light gel consistency and had a minor tingling and cooling sensation when first applied to the face.
Almay - eyeliner - 207 brown (0,28 g): This item is also a decluttered item, as when I cracked into it, it was dried out, when I broke a tip of it, it seemed to be soft enough for the eyes, but when I tried to apply it on my eyes, it turned out to be too dry and hard to apply.
Lancome le crayon kohl noir (0,7 g): this item was a roll over product from 2017 and finally I managed to use this one up this year. And considering how long this item lasted, compared to the Almay roll up pencil, a wooden eyeliner seems to have a much longer shelf life than a roll up one.
Dr. Belmeur advanced - Cica recovery cream (1,2 ml): This I got as a sample in a beauty store in Toronto, if I remembered correctly. These small samples are perfect for depotting into a small jar to take with me while travelling.

Did you finish anything of late?

Beauty goals for 2016 - update 3 - final update

At the end of the year 2015 I put a goal to finish up 10 products, of those 10 products I managed to finish 8, see picture below;

Finished products 2016

So what is left is the eyeliner and the gloss (which I replaced with a Burt's Bees gloss)

The rest of the Lancome black Kohl eyeliner
(the blush is a repressed Clinique blush not in the project)

The Burt's Bees gloss in Autumn Haze

The gloss is just millimeters from the set goal of using half of the gloss up, the eyeliner seems to be holding on for dear life, and could even take me another year to finish. Probably because it is fairly dry. But it is really the only eyeliner I have used for the entire year! And I have only used 1-2 cm of it as it seems. And I have a bunch of other liners waiting to be used. So I have learned it takes about a year to finish half a gloss. That should really hold me back in future purchases. But overall I am really glad that the products I used up are out of my collection, and have been saved from going bad.

So next is just to decide goals and products for next year, 2017!

Empties August - December 2016

So here come the products I managed to finish up during my stay in Copenhagen, August untill December 2016

Products used up in August - December 2016

Elf mineral eyeshadow primer, very good primer, finished up, and it was a part of my beauty goals for 2016
Revlon moisture stay lip tint in sheer spice 07; was depoted into the little round jar, is completely finished up, and was a part of beauty goals 2016.
The body shop total energy exhilirating body wash; a 10 ml sample which has been in my collection for a very long time - pleasant with scrubbing particles in.
Janssen cosmetics hydrating lotion; this product was really nice, while hydrating my skin it did not irritate the perioral dermatitis. Will for sure repurchase.
Emporio Armani Diamonds body lotion; this was gifted to me for x-mas a few years back as a perfume and body lotion set - it was nice and the scent lingered on my skin for some time afterwards.
Cover Girl clump crusher mascara; a really nice mascara, would repurchase if it was sold in Iceland.
Clarins foaming body exfoliator; the scrub particles in this product are really nice, but I just hate the smell of the "standard" Clarins body products, and would thus not repurchase.
Victoria's Secret Very Sexy sheer sexy mist; I finally used this product up, which was a part of my beauty goals 2016. I used it as a body spray and as a perfume. Will not repurchase, the smell was not unpleasant, but got really tired of it.

Empties January - May 2016

So here are the products I have finished in these first months of the year

Empties January - May 2016

Penzim: serum/gel-cream I used on my face when I first was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis, it did not cure it but I know it is free from nasty chemicals and parabens.
The body shop, sweet lemon body butter: just a regular body butter from the body shop.
Dove summer glow body lotion: finally I finished this up this spring, it has changed packaging 2-3 times since I bought this one (which even has the label NEW on it). I have already bought a new version of this cream.
Sheer eau de toilette by Aerie: nice scent, glad it is finished before it went bad on me.
Garnier micellar cleansing water: love it, and in fact do not sense a difference between this one and the one from Bioderma.
Physicians formula organic wear BB mascara: it was ok, the wand was a little bit too strange for my liking, and prefer the original one in the green bottle.
Bath & Body works nourishing hand cream in fresh sparkling snow: this was a nice and nourishing hand cream, but the scent was a bit too strong for my liking. Would not buy again.
Labello caregloss & shine: too sticky, with no colour and will not buy again.
Boots no.7 eyeshadow in a pinky purple shade: finished this one finally off. Ended up using it as a blush and an eyeshadow, and eventually when there was maybe 1 month use of it left, it broke into pieces and fell into the sink - good it was not a favorite!
Elf blsuh in mellow mauve: it was a super nice blush, but I got so tired of trying to use it up, and I got sick of the colour, by using it every day for a long period of time. Will not repurchase in the nearest future.

Beauty goals for 2016 - update 1

So here is an update on all the items I included in my beauty goals for 2016, after about three months use:

the first five products

I finished the Aerie roll on eau de toilette in Sheer - it took over two months to finhish 1/3 of a 7,5 ml bottle. Glad that got used up before it turned bad.
The elf blush in mellow mauve I have owned for almost 3 years now, and used it on a daily basis probably for over a year and a half. Which is a crazy long time for a blush to last it was in total 4,75 grams. The rest of it fell into the sink today, and I was so tired of it I made no attempt to save it from being washed into the ocean. What was left was probably 2-3 months worth of every day use of this blush, which would have made it last for almost 2 years of everyday ware. So when I buy blush in the future now I know how long it will last according to the weight, but then it also depends on the pigmentation on how much you want to use each time.
I made a small progress on the Lancome le crayon kohl noir even though I have used it almost every day since the end of January. I do not understand how girls go so fast through these pencils - but I do not sharpen it every day.
I use the depotted Clinique chubby stick in whole lotta honey every day in the morning as it needs to be applied with a pencil, which makes it very unhandy to put in your purse. So a slow progress is being made on this one.
The Boots no 7 eyeshadow (depotted from a trio - a pinky purple shade) I use every day in my crease, on my lid I use a light pink shimmery shade. I can see quite the process on this one, but the shadow was a bit thinner in the area where the pan is showing compared to what is left of it in the pan.
The elf mineral eyeshadow primer in sheer is on it's last leg, the formula has become quite dry and will only be used a few more times. The Garnier roll-on anti-dark circles in 02 is still going strong and seems to be bottom-less. I have to leave the product upside-down though to be able to get any product out, but it does never seem to be close to empty.

Victorias secret very sexy sheer sexy mist

On the Victoria's secret very sexy sheer sexy mist I have made some progress on this 75 ml bottle, last time the product reached between the X and Y letters in SEXY - now it is about one letter below that - which I will mark with a pen right now!
One product I have used the least is the Revlon moisture stay lip tint in sheer spice 07, I used about 4 times, or untill I could not apply it straight from the bullet. Will finish the chubby stick before depotting this one into the same box the chubby stick is in right now.

I threw the Guerlain Terracotta lip gloss in Terre d'or out of the project as it had started to seperate and smell like plastic. I replaced it wit two lip glosses one of them is the Burt's bees lipgloss in 203 Autumn haze, since I started using it in the end of January, brand new, I have already finished about 1/3 of the product as you can see on the colour line. This is a very thick gloss, so I actually had to let the bottle sit in the sun to try to warm the product up to see the progress I made. The other gloss is almost brand new: Dior Addict gloss in 643 Diablotine - so the one I finish first the half of - I will consider done with the Guerlain gloss, as it was only half left of it.

What this goal has taught me so far it that it takes forever to finish a blush, and it is such a pain to try to finish one, so I will try not to have more in my collection than 2-3, and will not put one in a "project pan" ever again.
Lipglosses are easier to finish than I thought, you just have to keep it in your purse and apply at least 3 times a day to see some progress.

Beauty goals for 2016

I was not sure if I should call this post beauty or makeup goals. But as I include a perfume and a body mist - it is more beauty goals.

I have been sticking quite good to a low buy, not an official one though - and when I am abroad travelling or in a duty free it is the most difficult.

With all the free time during my Christmas school break, I have been very active at watching beauty videos on Youtube, and seeing all the holiday palettes, but incredible enough I have not been craving them so bad, but I started to crave a ridiculously expensive eyeshadow from Nars, in fact one of the dual intensity eyeshadows in Himalia... but I can tell you that much I am not willing to buy an single eyeshadow for 29 USD. After that episode, I am currently craving an eyeshadow worth 19 USD from Urban Decay, half baked as a matter of a fact, a cult favorite. Neither Urban Decay or Nars are sold in Iceland, but half baked from UD is available from feelunique and they ship free to Iceland, on everything that is more that 10 GBP (half baked fits that category).

But how on earth could I justify buying a single eyeshadow when I have more than 20 eyeshadows in my collection, and I have only 2 eyes, and don't even bother to put on eyeshadow every day?

That's where the beauty goals for 2016 come in - it is  inspired by the project pan - videos from Youtube (which I love) but with my twist on it. So my goals for 2016 are to finish 10 spesific products, and the reason I choose them is because they are well along to be finished, and just need the extra boost to actually finish them, plus some of them are turning old in my collection, so it would be good to see them used and gone from my "collection".
The incentive, or reward is then when I finish three of the following products (Garnier concealer and elf mineral eyeshadow primer excluded as they are almost finished anyway) I will reward me with the Urban Decay eyeshadow - if I still crave it at the point of finishing these three products.

Status of 4 products

The products are;
Revlon moisture stay lip tint in sheer spice 07 - a super old lip colour I bought on holiday in the US years ago - there is just a little nub left of it. I will try to dig into it also, we will see how I will manage with the Clinique left overs.
elf blush in mellow mauve - more than half of this is finished, so it is time to give it the extra push to finish it completely. Then I can also start a new blush in my stash.
Victoria's secret very sexy sheer sexy mist - a very hevy schent, untill now I have used this as a perfume on holiday, I will try this out as a body mist and try to finish it like that.
Guerlain Terracotta lip gloss in Terre d'or - this is so ancient that it does not have a colour number and the line has been discontinued, so this is probably the first gloss Guerlain did in this type, and comes in a 6 ml bottle. I remember I bought it on a plane and it cost a fortune, so I will try to use the hell out of it. Now almost half of it is gone.
Aerie sheer roll on eau de toilette in Sheer - this used to be a staple in my travel toiletry bag, but on my last holiday I could sense it will soon go bad, so now it is in daily use to finish up.
Lancome le crayon khol noir - this my friend gifted to me for x-mas some years ago, as a part of a eye-makeup remover, and mascara kit. It has dried out a bit, even though it was never super soft. And that is probably why it is taking so long time to finish, as I have been using it consistently to finish it for a year.
Depotted Clinique chubby stick in whole lotta honey - this is what still remains of what I dug out of my chubby stick, now on a mission to use up.
Boots no 7 eyeshadow (depotted from a trio - a pinky purple shade) - this actually broke when I depotted it to put into my Uni-palette and just a little bit of the corner that broke remained salvable, but as this is my only eyeshadow showing pan, and it is making a mess of my uni palette, it needs to be used up.
Garnier roll-on anti-dark circles in 02 - just a tiny bit of this remains, and I remain torn between if I should use it up or save it as it has been discontinued and it is my absolute favorite under eye concealer. Most of the time I skip foundation, and just use this under my eyes - and it looks great.
elf mineral eyeshadow primer in sheer - I have already removed the stopper from this product, I totally love this primer, but it needs to go for the other that is waiting in my stash.

Remember less is more,

thanks for reading and happy holidays!

Empties July - August 2015

So here are my empties for July and August 2015 - a lot of them are holiday related as I was on a long holiday this summer,

Lavera sunscreen sensitive kids

Sunscreens, mosquito repellent, creams, nail polish and facial wash

Duru perfume shower gel in exotic bamboo

Verdicts:
Lavera sunscreen: will never buy again, it was awful, had to scrubb it off my skin as it made a white layer on top of my skin
Nivea sunscreen spf 30 pocket size: perfect to carry around in your purse when you need to reapply sunscreen on the go - and not too heavy to carry around either.
Off aqua anti mosquito spray: awful, I sprayed it all over my legs and arms and still was bitten many times over by mosquitos - will never buy again
Wet and Wild base coat: a very old one, managed to use a lot of it even though it was thick - perfect as a base coat for toes.
Proderm sunscreen spf 30: a very good moose sunscree (and paraben free)
Body farm pommengranate 24 hour cream: very good - bought a different cream from same company now in Greece.
Summertime anti mosquito spray: not a good one - sprayed all over, still got bitten.
Lumene BB serum
Korres yougurt face mask: an ok facial mask - love the size that it's so small.
Yes to cucumbers after sun shimmering serum; beautiful after sun watery after sun treatment, not too shimmery either.
Clinique facial wash: love it, very gentle and perfect travel size.
Sin Kov anti mosquito spray: the BEST anti mosquito spray I have ever tried, just a few sprits and you get no bites at all - will 100% buy again, when in Turkey (where I bought it)
Duru perfume exotic bamboo shower gel: this was so cheap in the supermarket in Turkey, came in very handy as a hand soap and a shower gel during my travels, and not too strong of a scent either.

Untill next time,
Elin

Empties October 2014 - March 2015

So these are my empties over the last few months:

October '14 - March ' 15 trash

Purity basics moisturizer from hampton - an average hotel body lotion- came in handy on travels.
Lady speed stick in shower fresh - love the scent, but will not repurchase as it contains aluminum.
Lumene sensitive touch gentle toner - love it will repurchase if I like this better than the other Lumene toner I am using currently.
Garnier micellar water - love this makeup remover will repurchase.
Garnier miracle skin cream - like it a lot, the colour matches me perfectly and it is easy to use when you are in a hurry (I am always in a hurry). Would like to try the Garnier BB cream next time (when I finish some foundations).
Nuxe paris micellar foam cleanser - would repurchase if it was available in Iceland. But it ran out faster than my Body shop nutriganics foaming clenser. Am now working on a one from Lumene.
The body shop Aloe protective serum for sensitive skin. Love this - a light and a creamy formula. Do I like it more than my Sothys serum? No, but I like the price better of the body shop one. Might repurchase.
Avon Moroccan argan oil shampoo - average shampoo. Will not repurchase.
Estée Lauder Emerald dream eau de parfum - my favorite summer scent, would repurchase if it was still on the market - do you know of a dupe?
The body shop Moringa body scrub - a decent one. Will probably not buy this scent again.
Physicians formula Organic wear in black. It became dry too fast - but maybe it was an old tube? But when it was good it was GREAT.
Lumene sensitive touch mascara. Ordered this one when I was having eye alergy problems. It was gentle on my eyes - a natural basic mascara.
Clinique chubby stick in 02 whole lotta honey- like the colour but hate how much product is left inside the bottom of the bullet - scooped it out - it will last for months.
YSL mascara in shocking, black - a deluxe sample. Love this mascara, too bad I had to throw it out before it went bad on me, as I got an eye-infection while using it. And didn't want to risk getting it again if the germs got into the tube. Would love to buy this, but not sure if I can justify buying such an expensive mascara. Maybe when I finish all the other mascaras I have, and have managed to finish some other products.
Clinique solour surge gloss in 21 azalea - too sticky - hated it. Will not buy EVER.

So some hits and misses,
will gladly throw all of this away

untill next time,
Ella
